My name is Josh I have a problem with lying to people I love. I do it cause Im afraid of confrontation. So I lie thinking it makes it better and then it catches up to me then the truth comes out. I am in a spot where I need help with this my wife wants to leave me and I love my family to much to lose them so Im asking for help please

You sound just like me. I wish I had the answers to help you out but like you, I'm in the same situation. The answer is stop lying. I found some advice on Google that said to Make a plan! I'm trying to do that. Hopefully you can too.

Only if it were that simple. I seeked help elsewhere cause this group obviously don't have many active members

I have used meditation to calm me and it sometimes will help me get through the day without that fear creeping in to take over and let lying take the wheel.

I slip up, too, there's not perfect way to deal, but I think venting and forgiving yourself will help too.

We are all people, we make mistakes, and we need to forgive ourselves, it makes the process of healing better - which in turn can better our resolve to be better.
