I have heard that the only reason that this date is a potential doomsday according to the Mayan Calendar is because the creator had passed away and no future dates were created. I have a good life though, when I am able to realize that and focus on all the positives. If it is true though and the world ends next Friday, I am content with the connections I have made, my family and friends and knowing that I tried always to hold onto me and givng the best parts ( my compassion, strength and wisdom to others). Then there is the next question as to what will happen when we die? Will it be peaceful for sure dannymike?

For those of us who are good, who strives for the right things, to do what is right, yes, I think it will be peaceful. There are relatives and friends that have gone on before me. I will be glad to see and be with them again. I will be sorely disappointed if it is not peaceful after what the good people have gone through in this lifetime. I don't know about the bad people. That judgement is not for me to make. Actually, any judgments on anyone is not for me to make. I will answer for myself, as will each of us, along with our imperfections. But I think if we have striven to be good and do what is right, we will find a peace beyond description. There, ya know what I think. Do you think I am wrong and warped to think this? I hope I am not wrong.
