I have been sitting here not knowing what to do. My mom said that I should try not to worry(well..ok..lol), she said nothing can be done if it is that big ..well..she thinks I may as well wait til Tuesday to call my doctor...then I thought well ..maybe she is right and my thought of going to hospital today to have it checked into right away is just silly. Now I'm not sure again after reading all you ,my friends have said..geesh..I just don't know...
Will have to think again ...in any case..thankyou mailman and all my friends for always rallying around with support when bad things happen..seems I just can't get a break medically,huh?One thing follows the next. Thank God for you all in my life...don't know what I'd do without you.

Call and ask. The hospital will have a nurse who can help you decide whether to wait or go in. You doctor's office, or group will have an "On Call" physician. We tell ourselves that our problem is too small to bother them with but the time I had to call, she made it clear that I was not a bother and helping me was why she was on call.

Pearls, you don't know me from Adam. I don't mean to intrude, and all I have to go on is what I read in this thread, but I want to tell you that I do know a little of what you must be feeling.

I had a Mammogram Tuesday afternoon. Thursday morning my doctor's nurse called me. Mammography saw something and they want more pictures. The nurse had made my appointment before she even called me. So, now I wait....until the 7th.....with no idea what they saw. i share your fear of the unknown right now.

My story is not important, as far as this thread is concerned. What I want to show you is that the nurse took the FIRST available appointment for me, before she even talked to me, because she thought I should get the pics ASAP. When you make that call, the nurse will be just as concerned about you. Please make the call.

Thankyou ...Lindsey made me call the hospital which made me call my doctors pager..so I'm waiting now to hear

Doc said it may be just from the pills I am on until my surgery.that have caused this.and not to worry too much ..Tuesday when she returns she will send me for mammogram and ultrasound to find out. Thankyou all so much for all the prayers and support and love..you are the BEST!! LOVE YOU ALL SOOooooo MUCH!! She's probably right and all will probably be ok..so no more worrying about me ok? Let's pray for Karen ..she is worried and we should rally around her now ,and all of you who also have terrible things going on..you all are who "I" pray for..I keep telling you guys..your pal Pearly Sue may have problems ..but she isn't going anywhere..love you all just TOO MUCH!! xoxoxox

Thank you so much, Pearly Sue for your Prayers and concern. I am very happy that you heard from your doctor and received reassurance. I know how much it eases the wait. DS really is the best.....our friends here holding our hands throughout it all. I pray for everybody on DS daily, but of course, I will be be especially mentioning your recent concerns.
