We have since opened up to all aspects of PTSD, BPD, DID, BIP, Depression, etc. Basically our group is a safe supportive (non judgemental) place for open discussion on any somewhat related topic. Here's what I wrote to my Investment Advisor today:
Marc,
I got your correspondence regarding the recommendations you prescribed.
You have my full blessing to make whatever acquisitions are needed to maximize this offering.
I saw where you had called last week and I appreciate your attempts to reach out to me.
My company has not worked me since December 16th and office politics have pushed me out, so it would appear. There are younger, female employees who have come aboard aft of my time with that Research firm. I'm disgusted by the whole affair...but, what's a guy to do? There is work to do, I am just not being scheduled.
I am still actively looking for work. To be honest, I am doing everything I can to avoid finances or the discussion of finances at this time. This is just not a good time for me...but, I do realize that a single phone call from an employer may turn this around.
Who knows? I had a phone interview with a Hiring Manager at the Infirmary of Mobile in Mobile, Alabama last Monday...but, have yet to hear any followup for a face to face. Since beginning this odyssey, I've had three face-to-face interviews in the past 23 months. My home town is failing me...
Anyway, I didn't want to ignore you. You and Leslie have been so kind and considerate to me and I thank you, deeply, from my heart.

My wife and I have an active buyer for our house. My wife's looking at older, less expensive houses...although we can afford what we're in. She lost our beatiful home, a year and a half ago, when she begged me to sell out and have us move. Well, we moved into a zero lot line home...against my wishes...and we've saved absolutely nothing. I told her she'd piss away more at the Banker's Table than she'd spend on the yard maintenance in a given period of time...and, I was right.
Well, we moved next door to assholes...and now, she wants out more than I do.
I remember, 18 months ago, sitting at an Attorney's desk...signing papers divesting myself of direct ownership like signing an armistice (actually an unconditional surrender)..in front of a Realtor, the Attorney, and a Secretary. It was a truly low, low moment for me...and I've had more since then. It was really something to watch my Bipolar wife sign mortgage papers...alone...for the financing of "her" house.
God dammit! 17 years ago, I took 20K from my own dying mother to buy my first house...on my own...and this cow moved in with me within 6 months. Oh, how the mighty have fallen.
Life makes for some strange bed fellows. I'll have to sit...and wait...and watch...as she'll be the only one signing mortgage papers...again...when this house sells. She's eyeballing older properties that are going to require of me more in the way of maintenance to save 25 to 35K for her.
I'm beyond disgusted.
But, you know...I remember a game I was pitching and it wasn't going well...up until the 5th inning. We were down by nearly 12 runs and our bullpen wasn't any better than I was...so, the coach left me in...to work out the problem for myself. This one guy had already hit a home run and a triple off me in the game and there was a runner on second with nobody out.
I did something that was kinda stupid, but it got my team riled up enough to fight back on the field.
I threw my first pitch...a fastball...right at this guy...and hit him in the nuts.
This, of course, started a fight. The benches cleared and they almost stopped the game. I got thrown out and Billy W. came out of the dugout and finished the game...giving up one hit...the rest of the way. We lost the game, but only by two runs.
So, I guess, the game isn't over until it's over...or...for me...when I decide to take a nut-shot at someone.
Nah, I can't do that...nobody to do it to...I guess I'll just do the best I can.

The time is approaching...do the math.
Life has handed me a reversal here. I left a long term, stable job because I watched a nice guy, who was my boss...turn into a psychotic narcissist in a period of 7 to 8 years. I am bound-and-determined not to do so likewise but my mental and emotional health is at a low, low.
Fighting in the trenches.
What a difference the years have made. Do I lament doing this?? Can't say, at this point, because the game ain't over...

Ultimately where do you think you will be relationship wise? I know you love Mary.. Or for sure the Mary of yesterday. Like I did my Jerry of yesterday. I kept waiting for him to come back to me, but he didnt...and the Jerry that was in front of me was incapable of being the Jerry that I fell in love with. Are you looking for your beloved Mary? Do you still see glimpses of her? Trust me I understand how difficult it is to not have someone next to you... To then wonder if the right thing was done. For myself I can say that the decision to part from Jerry saved me. Yes, im lonely at night... But I am not abused by him. I am stronger and getting stronger every day. J what keeps you there? I have no doubt you have soul searched that question many times. For you, staying might be the right thing. Only you can answer that.
I love you to pieces my tiger friend.
I think you are an incredibly amazing man.

I certainly agree with what Rae wrote ( she is alot better at writing than I am ). Please know that I am thinking of you. I think you are a wonderful wonderful man. one of the best friends I have here , you have helped me more than you will EVER EVER know. You honestly have no idea. I know you love Mary. We all know that. I also know that you struggle mightily at times. I hate the trauma that you suffered from your ex boss and the effect it has had on you. I want so much for you. So much and I hope you know that. Love you my precious friend.
