I'm new to any forum.. I have had chronic pain since 2009. I've been treated with pain medication since that time. This year, something changed, things seemed to get worse. My doctor upped my dose and added something for breakthrough to try for a couple weeks. I just saw him again a few days ago and he put me on another different dose and type of pain medication, same class. I've had issues with my pharmacy as of late not from filling early or anything like that I've always been very strict on myself about not going over my meds or asking for early refills. My concern is that I'm supposed to fill this new med tomorrow and I'm afraid they will turn me away because of the other change over the last month.. I've been reading horror stories about pharmacies keeping your script, not filling it and writing on it, and/or red flagging people. Can the pharmacist keep my script if they are not comfortable filling it? Now that I have a good dose down, I've actually been able to play with my kids, exercise a bit. I feel like I've gotten some of my life back so you can imagine how excited I am that things are getting back to a sense of normal for me but the pharmacy stresses me out.. Any answers or suggestions are appreciated. Thank you!
