Okay, most of you remember my rant after seeing my first pain mgt doc in 18 months and what a butt head he wasâ?¦.
Well, I just got back from PM#2 and oh my GOD-what a difference. I emailed him my â??storyâ?? the night before so he had an idea what to expect!
The first thing: Urine Test-no prob I will pee for you!
He was thorough, compassionate, attentive, and helpful and had a full plan of action laid out for me before I even left. It included TRIGGER POINT INJECTIONS TODAY!!!!
My first time!!!! Why has no one done this to me in the 16 G.D. years I have been suffering? I am numb right now. Next-repeat the Bi-lateral SI Joint injections that the butt head did. Then Facet Joint injectionsâ?¦then after that burn the nerve to the facet if necessaryâ?¦after that perhaps â?¦.perhaps a Medtronic Device if warranted.
Now, I ask, was that so G.D. hard? Oh, yeah, upped my med levels so that I get real reliefâ?¦gave me a brand new TENS unit and ordered me a new back brace!
I think I have died and gone to heaven. Please, do not give up on finding a good doctor! They are out thereâ?¦I promiseâ?¦I worked for and with many in my careerâ?¦I praise God he helped me find this one. So far, so good.

I am so so happy for you and finding a thorough, and more importantly compassionate doctor. That absolutely makes all the difference in the world. Also, to actually have a plan!!!
I have had my share of crappy doctors. One, my husband even fired while standing in the room with me. Now, I am blessed to have three doctors that are wonderful. I have a physiatrist, neurologist, and a chiropractor. And my most important point...they actually communicate with each other and develop a plan. What a concept!!!
Anyway, I am very happy for you. He's a keeper. I hope that he is able to find good pain relief for you.
