My story.

I've had C ML for about five years. I'm 74. I was first put on Tasigna and it promply dropped my numbers to near zero. Unfortunately I have heart issues and I went into A-fib so they took me off Tasigna and put me on Gleevec. For the entire five years my numbers on the PCR hugged the line just beliw 0.1%.  They varied only slightly . All the side effects were mid range of what I'm ready here. 

Then on 08/26/2017 I went to get my test results (I'm tested every 90 days) and they had dropped to 0.00. My Doc spun  his computer screen around and said  " Charles , what's going on" and had I been doing anything that might have caused this " out of nowhere response. At first I couldn't think  of anything and then it hit me. A friend had given me a concoction to try and help my never ending stomach issues. (I bounce between constipation and diarrhea) I thought it must be the concoction. I told my doc what the solution was and he waved it off. Said he doubted it was that. The concoction is a brew of coconut oil and high grade cannabis tops. Simple to make. Recipe below . Because we had doubt I waited for the next ninety days and didn't take any of the brew 15 days before the test and sure enough my PCR score returned to it's normal spot just below .01. When the doc saw the results were back up he took this to mean the 0.00 results were just an aberration.  So, again I waited until 15 days prior to my next test and took 1/8th teaspoon of concoction every night. Sure enough the PCR returned to 0.00. Once again the doc was surprised and I told him what I did and he just shook his head and laughed a little. I wasn't sure what he thought. Next 90 days micro doses of concoction continue and next test 0.00. As of 5/18/2018 I've  been 0.00 for around 120 days in a row.

This is where I am right now . Doc is thinking  the concoction is helping the Gleevec to be more effective. Maybe so. I'm in uncharted waters here so I'm trying to figure out how to play this. I would love  to reduce my Gleevec to 200. I'm taking 400 but I don't want to make a mistake either. So by accident I have been called to be a Ginny-pig.  I would love to find others who have tried something like this. Or better someone who would try it that is taking the PCR on a regular basis. Meanwhile I'm exploring the literature for other cases but can't find exact comparison.  

Would love any and all suggestions people.

Here is the recipe:  one jar 16oz of Virgin Coconut Oil. I get that at Trader Joe's for $4.99. Then one oz of cannabis tops. Cook slow and low. Don't boil. Cook at least 8 hours. Strain out cannabis and that is it. I am happy to share mine with anyone willing to try it if I can do so without breaking any law. But you can make your own.

I will keep reporting my test results and what I'm doing all along the way.

Bottom line: there may be some hope here but we need more examples. Ginny-pig anyone?
