The cancer cells eventually begin to outnumber and push out the good cells, and could lead to anemia and easier bleeding/bruising. Has anyone been on Bosulif ? I was on sprycel...but the side effects were too bad. Got switched to Tasigna and all has been good until my last 2 bcr tests. Now it looks like I may get switched to Bosulif .

The other thing you might be able to discuss with your doc is lower dose of Sprycle. You'll find a few people on the LLS board above who are on a lower dose and doing well.

Thanks....I think the sprycel is out. The pleural effusions were more than I could handle. That really was the only problem. But they would not quit. I will be heading to see the CML specialist at Dana Farber in Boston soon. But before that I have a knee replacement to get through.
