Where are friends when you are hurting?
Lord I am sick of being sick
Feel like beating myself with my stick.
I need to have more tests
When will I get to rest?
Friends try to understand
Still they have their demands.
They ask others about me,
Why don’t they let me be?
If they really care
They would be there.
Why don’t they make a phone call?
That would be all
It would show they care
And they are there.
Is this too much to ask?
It shouldn’t be a task
If they are my friend.
Do I ask too much?
Of the loving bunch
That is my friends
Supposedly to the very end.

I sometimes get so overwhelmed by the needs of others on this site that it paralyzes me. So many folks have so many more struggles than I do. It becomes hard to pray because there is so much--so many needs.
While this site has been so instructive and helpful, I, too, need some people with skin on to call and talk.

It is hard sometimes to understand the multiple needs on this site & how much people struggle for sure. Don't let it stop you praying, often mine is "an arrow prayer" in the form of please hear all the needs on here & frustrations (or similar) rather than individual though that is real good too.
You are so right need people with skin on too!
