The gospel is the power of God unto all that believe. So many look for some thing to activate the power of God. But we are looking for something else than what the power of God is. The gospel is the Power. The word of god was made flesh in Jesus. Gods power is his word!
Faith won't work if it is not from your heart. It can't be rituals. Salvation is Sozo in the original Greek Bible translation. Sozo It is an all inclusive term. It includes the salvation unto deliverance, rescue, safety, soundness (mental stability) and healing. But you can't receive if it is not of the heart.
Romans 1:16
16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ,[a] for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. 17 For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith.”[
People look to their skill and strength in the Word to make a difference. But we don't have anything to do with it. The answer is the Word. It is the power of god to heal! The Word is powerful wether we are skillful or not.
Word of God is full of life and power. Hebrews4:12 12 For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
The power is not Jesus, it is the Word. Jesus said that he died the work of the Father. He was given God's Word. In Matthew 8:5-9 it says "Now when Jesus had entered Capernaum, a centurion came to Him, pleading with Him, saying, “Lord, my servant is lying at home paralyzed, dreadfully tormented.” And Jesus said to him, “I will come and heal him.” The centurion answered and said, “Lord, I am not worthy that You should come under my roof. But only speak a word, and my servant will be healed. For I also am a man under authority, having soldiers under me. And I say to this one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and to another, ‘Come,’ and he comes; and to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.” The Word is the power. And the spoken Word can change everything! Gods Word works. Christ is the Word made flesh. He died for us. God loves us so much. Our faith can be as small as a mustard seed and God's Word works. It Works because it is supernatural! We don't have to understand it.
The devil wants to keep us from speaking the Word. He wants us to not believe the Word. We need to speak the Word no matter what. Its not is our ability to speak the Word it is the Word that works. Learn just one scripture and stand on it. I like 1 Peter 2:24. When symptoms and the enemy tell me otherwise, I answer it with the Word.The good fight is the fight of faith. We need to believe the Word no matter what. I am standing on the Word and it says I AM healed by HIS stripes.
