A friend of mine subscribes to Rest Ministries and sent me this awesome article that really made me think about things differently. I have a really positive attitude and am grateful daily for the blessings I have. I choose this despite the pain or discomfort. I think God gives us opportunities. I may not be able tho choose or control my body, however I can choose what to think and do; who to spend time with; how often to pray and how to handle the challenges everyday. This is the attitude and the choice I make is to be joyful.

What I often forget is to celebrate my accomplishments or recognize the little victories. For years I mourned the losses that MS created and let anger eat me up inside. And from time to time it reel's its ugly head. I forget that each day gift from God.

This article pointed out that when you have illness it is easy to expect the crappy things. Like expect the heat is going to wear me out, expect I am stiff and moving is hard, or to expect the pain. But what hit me the most was that, despite my faith, I was failing to expect God daily. I think medicine helps, but why did I forget God minute by minute. I kept thinking of the challenges and forgetting Gods goodness. I expected to not feel good in the morning. Well today I expect to feel good. I am expecting to feel better. I am choosing today to remember ALL things are possible with God. I anticipate his miracles, joys, and peace. I am going to live with joy. I may not know exactly how God will show up and work things out for my good, but the possibilities are exciting!
