I just listen to a message on Healing. I have learned so much about the Word of God in regards to healing. I want so much to share it with you. And today my head swims with the truth of God's Word. So many scriptures and principles come to mind. I tried to organize my thoughts and they still seem a bit chaotic. So if I I am not clear in communicating, ask and I will try again.
What is the difference between a strong or a weak Christian? I used to say "I want faith like that to believe healing is true" But God gives us all a measure of faith (Romans 12:3). I have learned that faith is a decision. It is a choice to believe His Word. I confess the Word daily in regards to healing. Some days more than others. My symptoms tell me it hasn't happened, but I know that I know it has. For Jesus died on the cross for my healing and salvation. Doctors are great. they can help us so much, but God's Word goes beyond all worldly knowledge. God's Word has supernatural wisdom and goes well beyond the knowledge of men. Nothing is stronger than the Word of God.
So I confess the Word of God. The Bible says we will have what we say. When my symptoms are telling me otherwise or my thoughts turn dark and fearful, I answer them with the truth of the Word. When I started learning Gods Word on healing and started confessing the Word, I admit I doubted. But the more I read and hear the Word and the more I confess the Word, the more my faith grows.
I have decided that God's Word is true regardless of how I feel, what I see, what symptoms plague me, or what the doctor says. I have decided that nothing is more real than the Word, no sickness is stronger, and no matter what comes against me, that the Word of God is true. I am going to say the Word and even if things look worse after I confess the Word i am choosing to believe God and keep the words that leave my mouth in line with God Word. Faith pleases God.
Gods Word never changes. It is more true than anything else in the universe. Heaven and earth may pass but the Word never changes. The spoken Word can change natural circumstances. I've included some of the scriptures that I try to confess below. Lets grow in our faith. Lets expect God.
Psalm 107: "He sent His Word and healed them from their distractions"
1 Peter 2:24 " Who His own self bore our sins in His body on the tree so that we being dead unto sin should live unto righteousness.by whose stripes we are healed"
Isaiah 53:4 "Surely He has born our griefs and carried our sorrows, yet we considered Him stricken and afflicted by God, but he was wounded for our transgressions, bruised for our inequities, and the chastisement of peace was upon Him and with His stripes we are healed"John 14:13 "Whatsoever you ask in my Name, that will I do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son"
Mark 16:17 "they shall lay hands on the sick an they shall recover"
Mark 11:23 "Truly I say unto you that whosoever says to the mountain be moved and cast into the sea and does not doubt in his heart but believes he has what he says, he shall have what he says"
