What do you mean this is a secular web? My understanding was the Jesus was not exclusive but open to all regardless of background. I am well aware of all the elements involved here such as abuse, incest and so forth that contribute to sexual and mental health problems. It is interesting however to understand the biology behind addiction - a biology created by God. The truth being that St. Paul talks about the armour of God as a defence against evil and the conflict of self - I do the things that I do not want to do and don't do the things that I want to do. Ultimately something like pornography on the internet and addiction to porn and sex is evil in its very nature compounded by the biology of chemistry. You are right in saying it is the Lord that saves people from addiction - this is the truth for we cannot overcome our lower natures without the freeing of the Holy Spirit.
