Hello I am here because I have been in a difficult relationship with somene with addiction issues along with anger, bipolar and OCD for 12 years. (no not fun at all) I also deal with grief from my brothers death and my mom has been having cancer testing since Jan of this year.Things are at the point I'm considering divorce and i need advice because its my 2nd marriage. The first one ended with biblical grounds for divorce but I'm torn where addiction is concerned I dont know what is right. I really do not wish to put my parents through this process again and the humiliation that goes along with it. i still love this person but he is not a real person in his words or actions so I dont know exactly who or what it is that I love and cant seem to leave. I dont think God meant for me to divorce twice,but I also dont think He meant for me to be emotionally abused either. The thought of losing another person in my life terrifies me.Any advice or prayers are greatly appreciated.
I am just now coming across your post. How are things? Have you filed for divorce? How is your mother?
I am so sorry for the death of your brother. I understand I have lost a brother in 2012 due to cancer.
Bipolar and OCD are difficult illness'.
If you have not taken any actions. I would high suggest counseling for both of you. Is your husband getting counseling for bipolar & OCD? I would ask him or her if you can attend some of the sessions. Ask if he/she would be willing help in the conflict in your marriage.

Thank you for this reply...I havent been online too much so I missed it. We are still together,I can't bring myself to leave. I keep trying everyday to find peace but the nature of his disorder is to produce the very opposite of peace. My mom is ok thanks to our amazing God,her blood has to be monitored every 3 months to be sure. My marriage is so hard and lonely because he is not an equal giving partner,I am a caretaker and I am so tired.I truly appreciate your prayers and I will do the same for you.
