A place for fellow Word-of-Faith believers to support each other, connect, and grow in Christ. Our key verse is Revelation 12:11(KJV) "And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony...."

1 John 5:14-15 "This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us--whatever we ask--we know that we have what we asked him for."
When this verse says He hears us, it is not talking about hearing us audibly as in hearing our words through sound waves; it is talking about Him taking the case. Think of a judge who hears a case to ensure that justice is done. The courtroom and the judge are there to ensure that justice is done. The courtroom and the judge are there to insure that justice is available to every citizen. The judge's decision is not based on his feelings but based on the law which he presides over to enforce for every citizen. The judge is there to ensure that justice (the enforcement of law) has taken place according to the written law. In God's case, His throne (the place of authority) and His power are there to ensure justice (the enforcement of His will) to all men who come to Jesus and His Kingdom.
Please read that statement again very slowly and let it bounce off of your current view of God. Most people feel that God makes His decisions on a case-by-case basis, but that is not true. He is the King of the Kingdom with laws that do not change. He does not and will not make decisions outside of His law. Thus we can know what His law answer will be before we ask, and we can be certain that we have what His law says before we can see it because He has the power to carry out the enforcement of His law.
As Drenda (Gary's wife) and I began to learn of our legal rights in the Kingdom, it dramatically changed how we thought about God and the Bible. The result of our new understanding was changed lives. No more begging. No more pleading. We learned what God said was legally already given to us as citizens of His Kingdom. We just needed to continue to learn how to legally lay claim to what was legally ours and release it in the earth realm. Think of cashing a check. Although you may have a lot of money in your checking account, there is a legal process by which you lay claim to the money and cash the check. There is a process in any legal system whereby we lay legal claim to something, even if we already own it.
2 Peter 1:3 "His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of his who called us by hisown glory and goodness."
It is a kingdom! Those that are citizens of the Kingdom have the same rights as anyone else who is a citizen in the Kingdom. It is important that we understand this point: Kingdoms operate by laws and laws do not change. Why is this important? It is important because it means that if the Kingdom works and operates based on unchanging laws, then there is no respect of persons in the Kingdom. Instead, everyone in the Kingdom has the same right to enjoy the operation of Kingdom law on their behalf just and any other person in the Kingdom can.
Here is where things get a little confused in the church world. Most Christians think that God arbitrarily decides what He wants to do in someone’s life. In other words they think that God chooses to bless someone and not someone else. They think God allows things to happen to people that they have no control over. They think He will heal one person and not another. Most Christians beg for God to help them when He has already done all He is going to do to help them. He gave them the Kingdom, all the Kingdom!
To gain a basic understanding of the Kingdom law, we must understand this primary and foundational point” God gave Adam compete jurisdiction over the earth. He was to rule over it.
Then God said, ‘Let us make man in our own image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the sky, over the livestock, and over the creatures that move along the ground.’”
--Genesis 1:26
I think Hebrews 2:7-9 makes it very clear:
You made him a little lower than the angels: you crowned him with glory and honor and put everything under his feet. In putting everything under him, God left nothing that is not subject to him.
At least for now, understand that God cannot exercise His authority in the earth realm (in the Kingdom of men) unless a man or woman who has legal jurisdiction here releases heaven’s authority. That is why Jesus told His disciples in Matthew 18:18:
“I tell you the truth, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.’”
Again, heaven has no jurisdiction here in the earth realm unless it is through a man or woman who looses it here. That is why Jesus is saying here that if a man or woman will release heaven’s authority here, heaven will back it up. If we don’t, heaven can’t….
God lost his jurisdiction in the affairs of men when Adam essentially kicked God out through his rebellion. It is here that Satan gains his jurisdiction over mankind as well.
The devil led him (Jesus) up to a high place and showed him in an instant all the kingdoms of the world. And he said to him, ‘I will give you all their authority and splendor, for it has been given me (by Adam), and I can give it to anyone I want to. If you worship me, it will be yours.’”
--Luke 4:5-7
Consequently God lost His legality in the earth realm as He lost the man that carried it—Adam… There are answers to your problems. Remember, a kingdom is a government, and it functions by laws that are impartial and available to any citizen living under the jurisdiction of the kingdom. As I stated earlier in the book, the Kingdom of God is built upon justice (the legal process which accesses God’s authority to enforce what His law says is right.) and righteousness.

I know my beliefs are different than most, but here is something to think about. In this situation these men were being persecuted for their faith, just as Daniel was when he was thrown into the lions den, and just as Paul was when he listed all the tribulations he went through in 2 Corinthians 11:23-33. He was put in prison, whipped, stoned, etc. Persecution is something God will comfort us through, and be with us while it is happening.
2 Corinthians 2:2 says that God will comfort us, so we can comfort others. Paul was telling the people of Corinth about the troubles they suffered in Asia, when he made this statement. In verse 8 it says that they were crushed and overwhelmed and they didn't think they would live through it. But in verse 10 it says that God rescued them from mortal danger.
In each of these cases, God rescued them all from death, but they weren't rescued from the persecution, or the tribulation.
However, when it came to other things like sickness, Jesus healed ALL that were oppressed of the devil. (Act 10:38). The disciples also healed ALL. Acts 5: 16. "Crowds came from the villages around Jerusalem, bringing their sick and those possessed by evil spirits, and they were ALL healed."
Peter healed with his shadow (Acts 5:15), Paul healed through handkerchiefs and aprons (Acts 19:12). On the Island of Malta in Acts chapter 28, Paul healed Publius father, and then in verse 9 it says, 'Then all the other sick people on the island came and were healed."
My point being that Jesus death on the cross didn't cover persecution, nor was it a part of Israel's covenant. Israel did have a covenant of healing IF they were obedient to all of God's laws:
Exodus 23:25 "Worship the LORD your God, and his blessing will be on your food and water. I will take away sickness from among you,"
Exodus 15:26 "26 He said, “If you listen carefully to the Lord your God and do what is right in his eyes, if you pay attention to his commands and keep all his decrees, I will not bring on you any of the diseases I brought on the Egyptians, for I am the Lord, who heals you.”
And Jesus bore our sickness and pains, as described in Matthey 8:17 "This was to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet Isaiah: “He took up our infirmities and bore our diseases"
Matthew was referencing Isaiah 53:4 " Surely our sicknesses he hath borne, And our pains -- he hath carried them, And we -- we have esteemed him plagued, Smitten of God, and afflicted." (Young's Literal Translation).
I don't believe healing comes automatically, but I do believe Jesus bore it for us at the cross, and we can take that promise and stand on it, and have faith to be healed. I have seen it come to pass in my own life, and many others, when they take God's promises stand on them, meditate on them, confess them, and believe. (Mark 11:22-23).
22 Then Jesus said to the disciples, “Have faith in God. 23 I tell you the truth, you can say to this mountain, ‘May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and it will happen. But you must really believe it will happen and have no doubt in your heart. 24 I tell you, you can pray for anything, and if you believe that you’ve received it, it will be yours." (NLT)
This was a bit long, so for anyone that read the whole thing. Thanks for listening, even if you don't agree. God bless!
