Christian Support Group Community Group
This is a place for everyone who loves Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior (or those who are seeking Him), to come and discuss important issues in their lives and find support from fellow believers in regards to their faith and life. We uphold the Bible and living a Christ-like life, not as a way to heaven, but as a reflection of our love for God.
So on Wednesday, when my youth group met and we went into our small groups, my youth pastor, Dan, came in and talked to our group about what happened. Everything just went downhill from there. After there was alot of awkward, BARELY scratching the surface questions, one of my friends basically told Dan off, saying it was unfair that we were making such a big deal about this, and now things are even worse. The group is divided, I'm bitter against some of my friends for ot being on God's side about this, and I don't even wanna go back to small group because of this. What should I do because I really just don't wanna go back because I feel like I'm being unfair even though scripture tells me me I'm right.

I feel like these girls, who are my age and most of them have been Christians longer, should be at least CLOSE to where I am in my faith and it really bothers me that they aren't. But it bothers me more that they don't even wanna work on it!

I'm afraid of conflict too, but am learning that we have to stand up for our beliefs, as the secular types are winning. The Christians have to be more outspoken and courageous than every before, but this is only my personal opinion.
My fear would be that the person would continue on and suddenly die or be killed and go to hell, as Jesus warned. It's not from a: "I'm holier than you." position. Those types are awful!
My mission in life now that I'm older (68) is to save myself and to save as many as I can from hell. It is too horrible a place for anyone to risk spending eternity there. Our Lord warned of hell many many times in the Bible, and not just to scare people, but to help save their souls.

He became a Pastor after he died & went to Hell .
DON'T let them sway you .
It would be easy to walk away from the matter, but things will most likely stay the same if your group is afraid. I'd advise that you talk about your fears with your pastor in private, or an elder you respect and trust who cares about the welfare of your parish.
A communication workshop (on how to discuss any sensitive topic, because there's a few!) would be greatly beneficial for your group. One of the leaders of the adult's group would most likely be happy to help.
Lastly, you're not alone. You're part of a body of millions of Christians under our Lord, so know that others will help and support you. I hope your group can overcome this and become closer in love for God.
