This is a place for everyone who loves Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior (or those who are seeking Him), to come and discuss important issues in their lives and find support from fellow believers in regards to their faith and life. We uphold the Bible and living a Christ-like life, not as a way to heaven, but as a reflection of our love for God.
In 2 Cor 12:7-10, Paul wrote about a thorn in the flesh that he asked God to remove from his life. We never learned what it was but he prayed 3 times to remove it and God's answer was my Grace is sufficient.
I think we all go through this. At least I hope I'm not the only one, although there is nothing good about any thorn in the flesh. In this world temptation is so great. Sin tastes so good, how do the weak survive? Last year seem better for me to resist the temptations I face. This year is a different season in my life where I struggle to stay in a holy state. Family and friends cannot relate especially if they are of this world.
Daily I see how wrong this world is, and how things are accepted. Money, sex, immorality, adultery, etc. Everything ever mentioned in the Bible is still here today and we all face it. At times my mind goes into an attack like an addiction that needs to be satisfied.
Trying to find ways to keep fighting and staying strong. What have you done to battle the forces of evil rampant in the world? I can think of many positives and the biggest is that I do feel loved by God who has given me numerous chances all my life to turn to him and it finally became whole last year but it is like I am being sifted to turn back to the ways of the world.
I joined this forum as a means to discuss my beliefs with others and in term I hope I can help others as they in turn help me.

Every day, satan just sits back and laughs (I think) because the world is so full of tempting things. He really gets frustrated when we turn to God, our strength and our help!!!
Let's frustrate he more!!!
It is so true that satan soooo enjoys when we are not reliant on God.
I have imagined satan doing an "oh no!!" When I turn to my God for help. It's quite a funny image.
I truly think we are nearing the end of our lives on earth in the next few years, at least many of us are. It is certainly time if there ever was one to really work on our selves and our souls and feed them what will help them most. Having a prayer partner is also helpful...hubby and I skype with my good friend in N.C., and we all have become stronger in our relationship with Jesus.
God bless you. This group is another way to get support. The path to heaven is narrow, so we won't be in the majority. That's a majority I don't want to follow. : )
