This is a place for everyone who loves Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior (or those who are seeking Him), to come and discuss important issues in their lives and find support from fellow believers in regards to their faith and life. We uphold the Bible and living a Christ-like life, not as a way to heaven, but as a reflection of our love for God.

Jesus never promised us a perfect life, he promised he would be with us through it. Yet depression is definitely one of the worst things a person can go through, precisely because it can make us doubt God.
As usual, my answer is to read the Psalms! There, you will find people who are hurting, and yet, they somehow find a way to praise God anyway.
"Why am I so depressed?
Why this turmoil within me?
Put your hope in God, for I will still praise Him,
my Savior and my God." Psalm 42:5 HSCB
The NT is clear that suffering is part of building our character.
"More than that, we rejoice in our suffering, knowing that suffering produces endurance, endurance produces character, and character produces hope. And hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured out through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us." Romans 5:3-5
Finally, God will hold you in the palm of his hand. He will never leave or forsake you.
"Be satisfied with what you have, for He Himself has said, I will never leave you or forsake you." Hebrews 13:5
God loves you, even though you are suffering. God does not condemn you.
"Therefore there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus." Romans 8:1
Memorize these verses, and when the bad thoughts come into your mind, think about these things.
Finally, please see a doctor if the depression continues. There is no shame in getting medication if you have a disease. And depression is always about the chemicals in the brain (neurotransmitters) no matter how it started.
"Heavenly Father, I pray for Kasi, that you would touch this person, and give them comfort. Show them your majesty, but also your incredible love for your children. Bring people into their lives, that can help them. In Jesus name I pray, Amen."
I've been considering suicide, the depression has gone out of control.
