My knee pain is getting worse

I have seen my three doctors and they said that my knee pain is not serious and keep on telling me to take painkillers. The problems with me is that I live in an apartment and I have to walk stairs which makes me very painful.The only good news is that the doctor has arranged me to see a phsiotherpist.

My knee pain also affects my mental health in that I have bipolar disorder.

Where is God? I understand you are in control.

Most times we expect God to talk in a loud, booming voice. This is not so. Most times, He speaks in "a still small voice." We just need to learn to listen!! All of us!!!

God visits us in life through His blessings and through His cross that He allows in our lives at times. I'll pray for the physiotherapist to help you. I had a knee problem for over 30 yrs. that kept me from walking far at all, and noone could help me. Finally, 2 years ago, I needed a total knee replacement, and that fixed whatever my problem had been. Now in my late 60's, I can walk. Never, ever give up. Your answer will come eventually. In the meantime, Jesus is with you as you suffer, and sometimes He is silent, but that doesn't mean that He doesn't care....not at all.

I will simply "mirror" what Mary and Judy have so aptly said already and that is: GOD IS THERE!!!! Please don't EVER doubt it and hold it as the pure and devine truth that it is. We don't always "see" Him at work, but trust me He is ALWAYS there. Remember His visits aren't according to any calendar. I too will be praying for you in regards to the physiotherapist and your mental health issues. Hang in there and know that He is working in your situation.

God never promised us a life without suffering. I pray the physiotherapist can help with your knee problems.

By the way, I have huge damage in my knees from RA, OA and several accidents. Stretching and riding a bicycle have helped enormously. And yes, pain can trigger bipolar ups and downs. That is the time to reach out to God!

"3 Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, 4 and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, 5 and hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us." Romans 5:3-4
