Perhaps the reason many of us have a struggle with letting go and allowing God to be in control is simply because we have been condition in thought from birth to be mature in our acceptance of responsibility and accountable and not in faith of God at our own birth.

We are taught from the time we are born to be dependent on our parents, family, teachers, authorities, and so on. As we have grown up, we are then conditions in thought by the same people ( society ) to transition that decency onto ourselves in a ever increasing level of mature acceptance of self resistibility and accountability. Sad really.

Imagine if we were taught from birth to have faith in God above all. Perhaps then we would no longer have any struggles to allowing God to be in control instead of ourselves. Image what our life would be then....

I learned from an early age to depend on God. My parents were both Christian. From early, I remember going to my Dad with nightmares. He would be reading his Bible. We came together, as a family, at meal time. My Dad would lead us in prayer.

But, I always had a wild streak in me. Especially when I went to college.

Something I came to realize is God is always right where I left Him. Behind me. Cheering me on when I did right, and very quiet when I did wrong.

But, it matters not when you come to a saving knowledge of Jesus. What matters is that you try your best for His best!!!!

I only realized God was in control 5 years ago when my foot reconstruction failed, I guess I am learning that lesson again, with my broken wrist!
