Joel says some things about being positive that I can agree with it. However, I think of Him more as a manipulator of God, like how to "work" God to get what I want. A prosperity preacher, talking about getting things and money and stuff through God. Jesus who was also God was born in a cave in poverty, I believe partly to show us that way to heaven isn't about getting all kinds of money and things. In fact, it's more difficult for a rich man to enter heaven, because all of these things are distractions from the spiritual life which is truly important. That's my take on Joel. If that was God's message, I'd stop being a Christian. : )

I really can't stand Joel... My grandma calls him Mr. Feel Good and I've spotted alot of inaccuracies in his sermons and teachings so I stopped even trying with him all together. He's way to nice and takes scripture out of context... Hate to be a hater but I just really can't stand this guy...

I have never given him a lot of thought. I have heard more about him than I actually know first hand. Mainly, that he is a 'feel good' preacher as some here have said. On his " what we believe" page, he believes like I do. I don't know much if anything about his preaching.
Does he ever mention the cross and the sacrifice of Jesus for our sins, I wonder?

Well, if everything were so perfect then Jesus wouldn't have had to pay for my sins on the cross and suffer and die for all of the sin of the world for all time.
