This is an amazing group of parents who all share a common (and cruel) experience, but I hope it feels like a "safe landing spot" for you in many ways! I think we all feel that we could not make it through this season without our faith!

Welcome to our site. If we didn't care and if we didn't love our children we would not be here. It seems that one of the hardest things for us to do is to not buy into what our children say to us and about us. Even though we know intellectually that what they are saying is not true, the very fact that they are saying hurtful things cause us pain.

We help each other debunk the nonsense and help you to see more clearly whereby undoing a lot of the pain we have encountered. Often it appears that they don't know why they are mad at us, they just are. They are looking for someone - anyone to blame for their problems. After awhile, it becomes just the same old same old and then it seems to become nothing but gibberish.

We can almost tell each others stories - they are all so similar. Stick with us our new friend and we will stick with you. Please read the posts and know that we are here to support you, to encourage you and to help you to learn how to have a measure of peace amidst the storm - through Christ.

Welcome, estrangement is very painful. I'm glad you are here. I'm glad I found this place too, I had no idea that such a place existed before someone recommended it to me. I am so glad they did and I'm sure you will appreciate the invitation too. Again, welcome!

So glad you found us during this difficult time. I was blessed almost immediately as I began reading the posts and I pray they bring you some comfort and encouragement. Please know you are not alone, we truly understand this awful thing called "estrangement" and the emotions that go along with it. But because God is glorified here, we truly do have Hope. And as He walks with you during this difficult time, we will be here with you also. Blessings and Prayers...
