CHRISTIAN PARENTS of ESTRANGED ADULT CHILDREN Community Group
Estrangement makes it difficult to talk about with family, friends, neighbors and church members. Christians are NOT immune to broken families. Talk about your experiences with those who know how you feel and get positive support through your Christian faith...."In these last days difficult times will come, for men will be lovers of self...disobedient to parents,...
I can sure identify with the Humpty Dumpty having a "great fall" and all the kings's men couldn't put me back together again either - except the one King!
To be loved and cherished by God...all I need really. If there happens to be some people in my life that demonstrate a fragment of this love (like my dear husband and two younger kids) well that's a bonus, right?? He created us out of HIS love..so that's good enough for me to ponder right now. These thoughts help me cope with estrangement and other painful experiences in my life..these thoughts give me hope for the future. Words of Life..yes!!
Thank you Sadmad.. I share your legacy .. as described. I read somewhere "protect your sadness .. it represents the tenderness from the heart of God." These experiences .. devastating like a bomb .. at the very least .. made us breathlessly poetic .. huh? I appreciate the reminder to recognize His kindness all around us. And not allow the evil to be dominant. When I focus on my enemies -- they win. When I focus on "surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life .." He wins for me.
"Sing them over again to me.. wonderful words of life..."
