CHRISTIAN PARENTS of ESTRANGED ADULT CHILDREN Community Group

I could not open the link you shared.
The oldest is pregnant with her first successful pregnancy and due in June. She HAS been more in touch as of late but only marginally.
Any communications we leave by any means is either answered many days later or not at all. Gifts sent go unacknowledged. We have decided to wait till they contact us and concentrate on just enjoying our lives as a couple free from the responsibilities of children.
I don't know why you were unable to open that link. Google Dr. Kathy McCoy Parents and Children Finding Balance.
I have heard of (and read) too many stories of parents who had one (or more) children who were absolute blessings even into adulthood and one (or more) children who turned into absolute vipers despite no difference in parenting or family life events. I have suspected it is a genetic thing as my oldest daughter is JUST like my MIL AND SIL who were both nasty pieces of work (my husband would tell you the same thing). The following is not a Christian link but the article talks about genetics and points to evil as the cause so thought I'd pass it along.
