I read this yearday & thought some of you may enjoy it.
Waiting is hare. We wait in lines at the stores, in traffic &in doctors offices. We tweedle r thimbs & stifle r yawns & fret inwardly about frustration. ON another level we wait for a letter that doen't come, for a prodial child to return, or a spouse to change. We wait for a child 2B born that we can hold in r arms( my GS was born today & he is healthy - praise God in His glory). We wait 4 r heart's desire.
"What a chapter can be written of God's delays!" said F.B. Myer."It is the mystery of educating human spirits to the finest temper of which they are capable." Through the discipline of waiting we can devlop the quieter virtues - submission, humility, patience, joyful endurance & persistance in well doing - virtues that take the longest to learn. Waiting for God is never a waste of time,

God's timing is NOT our timing..He alone knows the true details behind all estranged relationships. Just like you, I am in a place of "waiting". Mostly, I am hoping that my ES will turn his heart back to God, and until that happens, there will be a disconnect between us. It's sad that my ES has rejected us, his parents, however it's much more serious that my ES has rejected the Lord God.
We learn so much during the "waiting times". Thanks for reminding us martha.
