CHRISTIAN PARENTS of ESTRANGED ADULT CHILDREN Community Group
Estrangement makes it difficult to talk about with family, friends, neighbors and church members. Christians are NOT immune to broken families. Talk about your experiences with those who know how you feel and get positive support through your Christian faith...."In these last days difficult times will come, for men will be lovers of self...disobedient to parents,...
I was surrounded by lots of family and great people, yesterday, but the estrangement and being ignored on a holiday by ED is such a sad missing piece. It reminds me of the Lord Jesus with the lost sheep parable. I believe the word "Accept" that you said is a must. We can only do this by God's grace. Another key for me is going to be to focus on the true meaning of Christmas and the blessings we do have.
We will support one another through this diffiicult time of the year. God bless you.
We're all in this together! Praying for the best outcome for all of us this year. I know that if we were all together there would be so much understanding and camaraderie - that helps me not feel alone. Thanks all!
