CHRISTIAN PARENTS of ESTRANGED ADULT CHILDREN Community Group
Estrangement makes it difficult to talk about with family, friends, neighbors and church members. Christians are NOT immune to broken families. Talk about your experiences with those who know how you feel and get positive support through your Christian faith...."In these last days difficult times will come, for men will be lovers of self...disobedient to parents,...
I remember the first couple of years feeling that I could barely make it through. Time must heal in certain ways. I slowly remember I had to remember that there were many other blessings that I could not forget. The first would be the Lord, then other family members, special friends, ect. It was not right for me to ignore the many blessings. Each day is a gift.
Physically and mentally speaking, exercise and massage have always been helpful for me. Christian fellowship (at church or one on one) is another blessing. Lots of alone time with God is another key for me to not only survive but thrive.
