Praying!

On Mother's Day, I did think think of her family and the heartache they are experiencing.
It is sad that we grow lax in our prayers when God doesn't instantly answer. A few weeks ago, God laid on my heart the word "persistence," Faith moves mountains, but sometimes we need "persistent faith". Never give up .
It must be hard to watch the signs go down and the enthusiasm die. I am so glad, God doesn't write us off so easily.
Thank you for your update and I am still praying.

The not-knowing can drive you crazy - praying for peace for all and hope for Bee that there are many who still are thinking of her.

Wow - as hard as it is for most of us... for her parents... well, I can't imagine. Prayers are still being lifted for Bee and her family.

My heart goes out to this family, and I will keep praying.

It has now been 21 weeks since Bee went missing. Her parents and daughter come to every service, and not a single shred of news or leads. The wide searches eventually dwindled, the billboards are still up but silence...as no leads come in. It is like the city opened up and swallowed her whole. I feel so bad for the family. Last month the young teenage daughter was up at the altar, standing in prayer, with young people and youth leaders praying around her. She went from prayer to crying, agonizing crying, and fell down to the ground, laying balled up, face to the floor, in the most heart wrenching cry. I could barely contain my own tears as those who circled around her lay hands on her and prayed very hard, many cried with her.

In the busy days when I have stresses and family issues, I sometimes forget that a child is living in agony while she has no answers and no way of knowing when or if she will ever see her mother again and what happened to her. I am humbled by my small burdens compared to the load this young girl carries every day. I still pray for Bee to be found, to come home, to have answers, for some kind of update. In God's time it will come, though the wait is so very hard for us who are made of flesh.

Please do continue to pray for Bee, for Bee's parents, and especially for Bee's little girl who has the weight of the entire world on her small shoulders. Thank you and God bless.

Sometimes we only have faith to lean on when we don't understand. The Bible says if we trust God, we will never be disappointed. Life is full of mysteries and questions with no answers. As the time grows closer to the coming of the Lord, perilous times will come. I believe we are at that stage now. So many heartaches. Jesus asked if he would find any faith here on earth. We must not give up and stand strong. My heart aches for the family and I continue to pray for Bee's return. Estrangement is not nearly as devastating as what this precious family is going through. My problems seem little compared to theirs. I pray God's comfort and peace to the family and above all, bring closure to their suffering.

I offer my continued prayers that she will be found and that her family will have peace and resolution this side of Heaven. My heart breaks for them as this must seem so utterly hopeless.
