CHRISTIAN PARENTS of ESTRANGED ADULT CHILDREN Community Group
Estrangement makes it difficult to talk about with family, friends, neighbors and church members. Christians are NOT immune to broken families. Talk about your experiences with those who know how you feel and get positive support through your Christian faith...."In these last days difficult times will come, for men will be lovers of self...disobedient to parents,...
For now, you can't do anything about them. The good thing I see is that your 13-year-old GD is now with her Christian dad. Hopefully, it will be a positive environment for her and where she might be exposed to the gospel of salvation in Jesus.
My suggestion to you is to take comfort in reading your Bible and meditation on the Word of God through prayer. Learn how to deal with this dysfunction in a Christian manner and especially to let go of what you cannot change by turning the situation over to Him. You can only change yourself. But, by growing in Christ you can become a positive influence for whenever you do communicate with them.
Will keep you in prayer and know that we are here for you whenever you need to talk.

Estrangement is hard and affects us all in so many ways, especially physically. It is a blessing to have this group and support one another. I am glad you found us, again. We need the Lord for His strength every day. God bless you.
The most important thing for you to do is to be at peace with Jesus, at peace with yourself, and then perhaps peace will come to your family.
My daughter is back after a 28 month estrangement. She has been back now for three plus months. She has an 11 month old and is 20 weeks pregnant. Yesterday is the first time we even spoke about the estrangement. The relationship isn't perfect we are leaning to trust each other again.
Your health is the most important right now. Take care of yourself.
You will be in my prayers. We are all storming the gates of Heaven with prayers for our EC.
