CHRISTIAN PARENTS of ESTRANGED ADULT CHILDREN Community Group
Estrangement makes it difficult to talk about with family, friends, neighbors and church members. Christians are NOT immune to broken families. Talk about your experiences with those who know how you feel and get positive support through your Christian faith...."In these last days difficult times will come, for men will be lovers of self...disobedient to parents,...
"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control."Gal 5:22
In my own personal faith I believe that we are to try to live our lives trying to be more like the life of Christ. With all the daily temptations around us, it can be a very hard struggle. We must continue to try. I would say my mirror is in need of serious cleaning, for I fail here and there. We all tend to say something we may regret later, or lose our temper or patience over something or someone. When I have to start over, so be it, I start over by running to the loving arms of our Saviour! It is a continuing struggle, but very worthwhile in the end. We will never be perfect, but that should not stop us. Think of the final ending - to be with our Lord forever!!!!
God bless you all!
We see the fruit of what our EC's character is producing and it's not a pretty sight. We need to make sure that we allow the Lord to process us so that we can truly be a reflection of His character in our own lives. This won't be easy, but it's a must do.
"Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through experience of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, vision cleared, ambition inspired, and success achieved." ~ Helen Keller
