I wonder, I am learning how to be renewed, by the transforming of my mind (my thinking), taking thoughts captive, throwing out the negative and just repeating God's Word!!! Voicing my Faith in HIM even out loud!!! This did wonders for me for a couple months... Then I suddenly began having dreams EVERY NIGHT with my ED in them. It seems I can't escape even when I do manage to get some sleep,. I suffer from chronic illness and several health issues which already were there before this estrangement.......... I just am not even sure I WANT to get better any more...........

Estrangement is so destructive on every level. It affects is body, mind, and soul. I know that the enemy not only wanted to destroy our relationship with our ED (our EC) but he wanted to destroy DH and I (all EP) too.

This is not God's plan for us. He wants us to hold on to The Lord in hope and prayer. God wants to heal us and use us to bless others. Please be kind to yourself. Grieving knows no pattern. We are human and we have ups and downs during the grieving process.

We are here for you. It is good for us to share our feelings with one another. We care and we pray for you. Our Hope is in The Lord.

Our church started a new series this weekend called Static; about the negative thoughts that go through our brain. You can listen online at eaglebrookchurch.com. The pastor started with Ps. 55:1-3 "Listen to my prayer, O God, don't ignore my plea... My THOUGHTS trouble me and I'm distraught." and vs. 6-8 "If only I had wings like a dove! I would flee far away and stay in the desert. I would hurry to a place far from the tempest and storm."
Basically today we learned: Put a higher value on what God says than on what people say.
God knows you and has a purpose for your life Jer. 1:5
God is for you Rom. 8:31
You're loved Rom. 8:39
You have gifts and abilities Rom. 12:6
Repeat God's truth about you every morning, noon and night Ps. 55:17"I look to God morning, noon and night."
He stressed Phillip. 4:13 " I can do all things through Christ, who gives me strength."
