Sitto....It sounds to me like she is going to be in for a very rude awakening in the near future. Hopefully, she will come to her senses before it is too late.

Would you rather she have the child and raise it alone? Does she know that she can turn to you for help if she should leave this abusive person?

I can certainly understand your concern for her and for her baby too.

Sitto, my heart is going out to you right now. You certainly have some real concerns, especially that your ED is in an abusive relationship, and with a baby coming..so sorry to hear about all of this.
If our estranged kids (doesn't matter their age) would only turn to God, and see how much they need Him in their lives, and how much they are loved by Him. Never stop praying for her dear Sitto. Right now, her situation is out of your control..but it is in God's control because He knows every detail of her life right now.
Please know that we care, and will be praying for her safety.
Do you think that staying away from FB yourself would be a way to protect your own emotions right now???
Sometimes, knowing too much about the details of our estranged loved one's life, just increases our anxiety, and I think that FB might be contributing to your anxiety dear friend...not to mention, reading about all of the lies and gossip going on there. Just wondering how to decrease your own level of anxiety about her.
This is just my personal opinion, and I have no account with FB for that very reason...anyway, our ES has blocked his siblings on his account, so I suppose that he thinks they might copy photos of my grandson and give them to us...imagine that, loving grandparents actually getting photos of their grandchild!!!
Our world has turned upside down for sure.

Seems to be a common thread, making the parents out to be the bad guys. It shouldn't bother us...the people who know us know better...but I know those are just words. It does bother us, being a parent is the most important job we'll ever have to most of us and those of us who have done a good job don't need or want the lies being said about us. I am so sorry you are going through this. I wish there was more that I could say, something I could do...but there isn't. My situation is a lot like yours. Only difference is we only suspect a pregnancy...and she's not talking about it yet. Your daughter will learn though...once an abuser, always an abuser. And I doubt seriously that he takes care of his previous children. I would say perhaps one of his exes could talk to your daughter, but I wonder if she would listen..

I cannont access my ED's information on FB but someone who can told me what she is posting on there. I already told the person not to share any more of my ED's future postings with me. Before she moved out we had talked and were prepared to have her stay at home with her baby, so she had my support that we would be here for her. However, she chose to leave and move in with her boyfriend. I know that our Lord has her in His care and protection. As soon as her baby is born she'll realize how much her life is going to change and hopefully know how much we always loved her.

After re-reading this discussion thread, I've decided to pray for all of these precious unborn children.

Facebook was the method used to announce ES GF pregnancy and also the birth. We were then defriended and have had no communication or seen the baby. No more FB for me. As in all things, FB can be used for good or evil. Yes, we need to pray for all involved and especially the GC.

I understand completely. we are in a similar situation...daughter is preggo with first grandson and we are not facebook friends. but I am sure that i will see pics of him via my brother's facebook or other family members. thats gonna sting like crazy...but if her history is any indication. she will be a total bioche....big hugs to you
