My ES and DIL are working hard on reconciliation and it is going good. Since my husband passed away, they have come closer. But they live in the cities, as does my other son. I have purchased a home in the cities and am selling my lake home that Al and I moved to in retirement.
My realtor is a strong Christian. She even sent me a card that said "Remember that your faith is stronger than your fears." My home is on a lake and so far I am not receiving any offers. I need to sell this house to pay for my new one.
Right now I feel God is distant. I know he is with me but it is hard to understand why I have not sold. God's timing is perfect, I know that. But the "human" in me is worried it won't sell.
Please lift me up in prayer to not get discouraged, and that the house will sell soon. Thank you.

Keep praying and relax. I know it gets very overwhelming wondering if you are moving or what the future holds. Stay in close contact with your agent for updates. A good agent is the key tool. May and June are good selling months since many choose not to uproot children during the school term.
Meantime, will be praying for you. God is in control .
I was getting discouraged two years ago when we were selling our log home. And the banks were the same then re making mortgages difficult. Long story short......a young couple bought our home and their parents gave it to them as gift so it was a "cash" deal. No bank involved. Now, was that God? And, trust me, I was discouraged prior to that. Then we had to find a home and were living in our 5th wheel for two months at a local campground. We were driving down the road and I said to my husband how great it was that God got our cabin sold "...but did He forget about us needing a home?" Honestly, right after I said that we came upon a home with a "For Sale by Owner" sign. That was it. No realtor and the owner came down $50,000 when another buyer offered him full price. He said because of what we were planning to do with it.
God is there in spite of our grumbling and I was grumbling and so humbled and you know I repented. Hang in there. When you can't pray, WE will.
