Just got home from a week visiting my father in the hospital. He's in a wheelchair for the first time in his life. At 1 am, after driving home for 15 hours straight I found a message on our answering machine from a lawyer. Our ES is suing us. This is what happens when you adopt a child at 13 years old. I am speechless. Please pray for us. I don't know if I will ever sleep again.

I had a reply all typed out and then I hit a wrong key and lost it all. I was about to close with this quote that is my screen saver on my computer, it helps me very much in stressful times, I pray it will help you too:

Ladies, thank you all so much. I'm completely besides myself today. In total disbelief. I guess he really pulled a fast one on us. The betrayal just gets worse and worse. This ES we gave SOO much to also. What a mistake. Sometimes you can give too much and spoil the recipient. Don't know what I'll do with this lesson-learned in the future, but I have learned my lesson.
Thanks again for your prayers and encouragement. I read all these comments all throughout the day and it really helped to know you all were praying for me. God bless and help us all.
