I don't normally read this version, but I read these verses today in MSG and loved how it was written:

feeling, I too like the way these two verses are put into common language style. Jesus spoke in the common language of his people at the time so that they would understand better what he was saying. I like to look at parallel versions on some of the Bible sites. I find that a few of the solid, but different, versions helpful.
Norske....I agree that sometimes we have to sit there in it for a while before we "get" what God is trying to say to us. Sort of a midnight session with Job and his friends before we "hear God's voice."
