I feel your loss and pain. I lost my little GS also. I will lift you up in prayer. My God give you comfort and peace in both your hearts and mind.

I know exactly how you feel. My phone has been blocked to. I have another phone that I save just in case I ever need to try and get a hold of her. I do get to see pictures on facebook. The grandchildren are innocent and that is what hurts so bad. The times I have seen my gd she is always so excited and cries when we leave. They are used against us. I am so sorry for your pain. God is my only comfort. I know he will bring us thru the pain. I have seen him work in my situation before, and I have know doubt it is going to happen again. Hang on edr1961 don't give up hope.

This made me weep. The last time my ES contacted me was in September, and he said he was putting me in a "blocked file"...whatever that means. I guess if I email him it goes into the trash? And of course he won't take my calls, and he has blocked me on Facebook. And he has two children...one that i have NEVER seen. And get this...he named the new baby after my deceased father! And the baby's birthdate is the exact date that my dad died. So, so weird. And so hurtful. The baby's name is Howard, just like my daddy, but they call him Howie. He will be turning one on January 14. And I have not seen him once. And his brother turned two in August and when I sent presents, that is what seemed to tick my son (and crazy DIL) off. They were upset I sent presents! So I will not send anything to this little one, even though my heart is breaking. Bless you, and I pray for comfort for you in this dark time.

I'm so sorry for your pain edr. I've lost 3 GC. I don't know how the parents sleep at night. You're in my thoughts and prayers.

EDR ... I know it is heartbreaking, I have lost 2 grandbabies this way too. We aren't meant to do the 'heavy lifting' ... when there is nothing more you can do ... PRAY ... and lay all those expectations and hopes at the feet of Jesus. Because of Him we have hope and He may or might not change our EC's hard hearts.
The little ones are going to be okay, because our EC's can never take away our faith, our hope, or our love as we battle for them and our grandbabies in prayer.
He is your strength. I know the circumstances are dire and feel awful ... that why we musn't allow ourselves to stare at our circumstances, only give them a glance, and keep your eyes fixed on Jesus.
It's the only way I survived missing them ... it's been 5 1/2 years now since I've seen them.... but God will give you the grace and peace to get through it, until we see them again. His peace really does surpass understanding ... and He will set your foot on the rock again, as you wait on Him and battle in prayer.

Edr and all Ladies, Saying a prayer for those of you who have been missing precious and innocent grandchildren. My prayer is that one day all of you caring grandparents will be in the lives of your grandchildren. They will be so blessed. Keep them in prayer. God bless each one.

You all are so wonderful,supportive,and such kind words and thoughts. My gs still has a few Christmas gifts here to open. My sister said maybe I went to far saying things that is the truth and defending my gs and I told " no" I didn't someone needs to tell the truth and the truth hurt them. Our son said in his way that we think we are well off,I kick people when they are down,we r not welcome at there home,maybe I shouldn't have said some things but I have held on for 4 yrs. When they needed our help we were there money,anything they needed and never expected it back. But it became we were being used,abused,mentally,financially, emotionally in front of dil family,and her older children, dil mom and dad go to there home and stay for wks at a time. But we are not permitted. Son told his dad one time he came by to be nosy because WE paid to have a shed built for them and dh wanted to see progress big argument came with for the district in front of dil family. So I gave son/ dil a list of somethings we have done and NEVER thought of return it amounted over $40,000.00. And none of that included my gs things and never will what we did for gs was never thought of we loved doing it. Our gs would come over wkly last time we made gingerbread men I have pix. I am broken in a million pieces

our son dropped off our garage door opener,so i called his phone and asked again tolet us know when he was off and that we would like to see our gs,and i will continue to ask,and send gs emails fromme,and buy his little hotwheels and when i get a good amount i will send them in mail.They will not keep me from loving my gs he has nothing to do with the grownups issue,if my son does not want to talk so be it,my gs is use to visiting us wkly and he has 2 hot wheels sitting in a chair each time he comes.And when he leaves i havea goody bag he picks 1 toy to take home.He gets so excited and i just love it.

Such a sad reality of estrangement, that we lose our precious, innocent grandchildren. I've lost two innocent grandbabies. May God forgive our children for the heartache they cause.

The EC's can and do take away the blessing of grandparents and the love we bring.... from their own children.... They can and do deprive them of this. They are deceived ... that's what satan does ... kill, steal and destroy. When our kids do the wrong thing ... they give satan a foothold.

It is sin to do this to parents. They also lose the blessing.

You are not alone. This is the most hurtful and cruel thing to have happen to anyone. And no one understands except those who have experienced it. I have, so my heart breaks for you too!
