This week I admitted to myself the truth...my other child only hangs around for what they can get out of me. I have zero contact from estranged child. My other one was so proundly disrespectful and cold to me this week. I havent cried, there are no tears left. This was after I helped that child financially. Child and spouse have marriage problems and could they please borrow several hundred dollars? Sure. After I gave the money (which will never be paid back)....I was treated with contempt and disrespect. In the middle of all this, I lost my job. When I told him, he said "why" and there was no response after that. The bank is closed. In the middle of this is a little blonde angel, my grand daughter. I do see her regularly and babysit often and .......fear the day I will lose her too. I am quietly praying and trying to listen to praise music. It seems hollow and hopeless. I am alone, unemployed and treated like scum by the babies I raised with love.

It's a process. So much of the estrangement thing has brought out things in me that I have had to deal with. In the end it isn't so much our kids coming around and doing the right thing ... that would be icing on the cake and wonderful. But, it is allowing God to use this circumstance to work things out of us, like fear and worry, and increase our faith and trust in Him.
This estrangement has affected me so much that I know for a fact if I had known this was going to happen I would have never, ever had children. In fact I find myself watching pregnant mothers and young couples with children and feeling sad thinking "oh if they only knew what was coming down the road".
Ruth...You are so right it does affect the next generation coming up. But I am hoping the Lord will return before this comes about. All the signs in prophecy is coming true just as the Bible says it would. In fact, even this estrangement if talked about in the Bible.
.Yes, that fear of losing all. And it really is, too. For me this has gone on at varying levels of intensity. My eldest is 13 years older than her younger sister, 15 older than her baby sister. She adored them; was like a 2nd mom to them, and I realize very much wants me unseated as Ma....
It grieves me but I so clearly see her politicking and campaigning to convince them over to here "side". And the middle girl...sometimes she says something...and "I know where that came from". So it is a credible specter because it can succeed. The holidays have been horror stories for some years now. The younger girl make the plan, she goes along, then at the last minute - upset the apple cart - as she informs her husband doesn't "like" the plans, or "it's not convenient for us" and the other girls are left in shambles trying to "make it work" (and it doesn't.) I no longer care. They get ANGRY with her at those times...but down the road she is everything good/mommy to them...and they forget and the propaganda begins to "convert" them to her side.
And yes, yes, yes Jesus IS coming soon. The signs are soooo there for those who pay heed. Come Lord Jesus!!! When you can see it on CNN...you REALLY detect it on other sites that I monitor.
God's children have treated Him no better than some of ours do. Capiche?
Prayer is uber important and so is rebuking evil spirits which in my experience is ALWAYS worse during the October halloween season as society revels in that and it's high holy days of satanism. Yuck!
