I am sorry for your pain. We are here to support you. We care.

The thing is, we never stop missing them. We can put it in a box on a shelf in the closet. We can find other things to think about. We can make new friends. But when everyone else goes home, and we are alone with our own souls, we are still left with a deep gash in our hearts that won't heal. How can you accept that the child that you nurtured, and laughed with, and taught how to read and tie his shoes, and sat up with when he was sick, has just forgotten you like an old rag. How can you feel joy when someone shows you pictures of their grandchildren when you know that you will never see your grandchild's face or hear his little voice say grandma. Everyone else will forget, but I will never forget.

Don't feel like there is something wrong with you for crying. There is nothing wrong with you. There is something wrong with the hearts of those who have left you for dead in the garbage. Am I angry. Yes. Why wouldn't I be angry. Am I depressed and lonely without the children I thought would be mine? Of course. We try to survive, like victims of a terrible crime. But the scars remain and our tears still block the sun.

I am the same way. I will be doing just great at not thinking about him, and all of a sudden, I will hear a song, or see a picture,or some old memory will take hold of me and the pain just flares up out of nowhere, and I cry my eyes out. I think I have done a pretty good job of building that hedge around my heart on most days, but some days are just bad. I will pray for you if you will pray for me!

hits you over the head like a ton of bricks......all the years you are raising them you think it will just continue after they are grown.....you never think they will dump you when they've got all they needed from you....uggggg the hearache never ends

All this is true, but tears turn to thoughts of Jesus, & The Lord scoops me up (In Spirit) & says "Everything is going to be ok, I Am your strength, your Rock, in Whom you are to Trust!" In Gods hands I commit ALL my worries , cares & concerns! Its so hard when your hurt & angry, as anyone would be. Its Not Fair! If you trust that only God can turn things around for His Glory, then your in the right place. Don't Loose Faith! Don't loose Heart! The Lord is with us, & will give us a Future & a Hope, if we Trust Him! ; )
