I will rest in the knowledge that my estranged child is in God's hands

I will trust that God is working in the life of my estranged child
Just for today,
I will be assured that God hears my prayers for my estranged child
and he will answer them in the way he sees best for both of us
Just for today,
I will have hope that God will restore my relationship with my estranged child
in his perfect timing
Just for today,
I will let go of doubt, fear and release my estranged child into the hands of his creator

I will be thankful for all the believer God has put in my path who are with me on this

I will forgive my enemies and treat others the way I would like to have been treated.
I will thank the Good Lord for having a place of refuge like this to come to and share my pain as well as my faith with my fellow Christians who understand.
