CHRISTIAN PARENTS of ESTRANGED ADULT CHILDREN Community Group
Estrangement makes it difficult to talk about with family, friends, neighbors and church members. Christians are NOT immune to broken families. Talk about your experiences with those who know how you feel and get positive support through your Christian faith...."In these last days difficult times will come, for men will be lovers of self...disobedient to parents,...
On a strange side note, my daughter saw one of her student's mom at the gas station where her son had been dropped from Head Start because he wasn't coming and mom wasn't letting Head Start know what was going on. My daughter tried to talk to her, but she ran away when she saw her. There may have been a reason for this.
We live in the Twin Cities of MN. They were going to Green Bay. The big accident was right before Menonomie. They did make it to Green Bay. They said the drive just kept getting worse. Thank you for praying for them. They'll be coming back tomorrow.
God taught me something through this. They were only a half mile from the accident. If they had been pushing ahead any faster they would've been in it.
They were wishing they could've been 2 mi. back, so they could take the detour, but found out that wasn't going so well either. They met some people at the bowling tournament that took it. They said it was way out of the way and very confusing. They would've prefered to have been stuck.
Maybe being "stuck" isn't so bad. We want to move ahead faster and that maybe a disaster. We want to go back, but can't. That's not the way either. We just have to stay "stuck" and know that even though we don't like it, it maybe the best way in the end.
PTL for your family's safety.
Maybe we all need to be stuck in traffic more often.
