Well, I was supposed to get a call from my daughter's counselor to have a family phone session but I got no call. I'm quite ticked at the couselor. She could have at least called me to let me know something. I called her Dad and he said "oh, she's out! After only 21 days they let her go home. She was supposed to go in all day for outpatient therapy but I don't know...maybe she just decided she didn't want to talk to me. God only knows. I've been so excited for this phone call and feeling like God is really moving, and I'm sure He is, I'm just so sad and disappointed. I'm feeling weary!

Oh my.....I'm so sorry that this has taken a downturn for you. I was afraid of that when I saw your topic title. I know how much you were excited for this door that seemed to be opening. As far as letting her go after 21 days goes, that's probably all they could hold her for. Even so, a LOT can happen during those 21 days. She will at least have heard SOMETHING that she is not going to be able to forget. Drug addiction is such a roller coaster ride for her, as well as those surrounding her.

Let's not give up hope. As long as the door is open a crack, God can still get through to her. Please keep in touch. We are concerned for you just as much as we are about your daughter. God Bless you life for caring so much for her. Somedays she will appreciate that I am sure.

I feel your pain 'Life' ... ahhhh disappointments we have so many! .... but like 'Kjgizmo' said, you/we are in God's 'waiting room' .... here's a scripture that I pray will uplift your spirits:

"But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew [their] strength;
they shall mount up with wings as eagles;
