Wishing you a Happy Resurrection Sunday. Easter is a time of renewed hope that Jesus left us when he rose from the grave and conquered death.
Many of us will not be spending Easter with our EC. Though many of us wish they could be there and wish that our relationships were restored, we've come to understand and accept that we cannot change our EC. Their change comes from within. Their change comes by their own choice. Their change comes when they accept responsibility for themselves. Their change comes when they stop blaming us. Their change comes when they make the decision to accept Jesus.
Our change and renewal comes when we free ourselves or worry and doubt, of accepting blame and trying to change what we cannot. Our change comes when we let go and let God. Our change comes when we live our own lives to honor God by living in joy and not sadness, by living with courage and not in fear, by living in victory and not in defeat no matter what our relationships are with our EC today.
So on Easter, the day of resurrection, we will look again to the God of renewed hope and put our trust in Him.

For sure there are estranged parents that have EK's that do not know Christ as their Savior and then there are parents like myself who have EK's that have made a decision to a receive Christ but are in rebellion at this time. It is the parents, like yourself, that are in this group that have children that are not saved that my heart goes out to especially. Should Christ come back tomorrow their sins are forgiven and I thank our gracious God for that but not everyone has that joy.
But there is joy that the offer of salvation extends to them and that as long as their is breath in their bodies, there is hope to hold onto.

Easter because of God's incredible love for US. We celebrate Easter because of the price Jesus
paid for US. Easter is a day we all celebrate New Life. Every day in a Christian's life is Easter.
This Easter has been extra special for me. This past week was my Easter week for my students.
It is the most important week of the year for me. I prayed for each little heart to be open to the
Easter story. This year 2 little children accepted Jesus into their hearts. If he can open the
hearts of others he will open our EC hearts too.
