Blessings to all. I am hosting my first Christian based group meeting for estranged families in May 2013. It will be in either Lubbock or Dallas. I have had a huge response as it appears many have been waiting on something like this. My prayer is that many meaningful and loving relationships will began here. My prayer is that we become the family to each other that we are missing in our lives. This meeting will be lots of fun. There will be lots of motivational speakers, encouragement and bonding.
If you think you might be interested in attending please let me know. I will need a head count by the end or March.
I pray that I will hear from many of you. The more the merrier. We are all in a different level of healing and can be of encouragement to someone else. If you think you are in a bad place, there is always someone else that feel like they are in a worse place than you are.
Please help me be a blessing to others.

I am so glad to hear that this meeting is coming up. We definitely have a need to bring the word of estrangement out from behind closed doors. Eliminate the shame and guilt we all carry. Im so sorry that I wont be able to attend. My health doesnt allow me to travel that long of a distance.. If I can do anything to help you prepare please let me know. I am homebound and have lots of time. God bless your work!

lamutoo...Praying for this meeting, it sounds like it will be such a wonderful meeting to attend. Sorry, I live so far away up here (Canada..but close to upper New York State), and due to financial restraints, I'll have to save up for the next one. I'll be praying that God brings just the right people, and that the meeting time honors Him and helps to comfort all the estranged families who will be attending. Praying for you as you continue to plan this exciting time together...like I mentioned..wish I could come this time..but you'll have to plan another one that I can attend..perhaps in a state further north?? Hope you have a great turn out..I'll spread the word, and many of us here will also. We'll also expect a great report on how things go..
