CHRISTIAN PARENTS of ESTRANGED ADULT CHILDREN Community Group
Estrangement makes it difficult to talk about with family, friends, neighbors and church members. Christians are NOT immune to broken families. Talk about your experiences with those who know how you feel and get positive support through your Christian faith...."In these last days difficult times will come, for men will be lovers of self...disobedient to parents,...
Jesus spoke of how those time would progress (or digress) to a society that resembled the time of Noah and Lot in Luke 17:26 - 30. The times of Lot are most like our days now because we have legitimized and rationalized sodomy (homosexuality) to be a normal relationship despite so much scripture that clearly denounces it as an abomination. Sodom and Gomorrah were pictures of the future event....
"As it was in the days of Noah, so will it be in the days of the Son of man. They ate, they drank, they married, they were given in marriage, until the day when Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all. Likewise as it was in the days of Lot--they ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built, but on the day when Lot went out from Sodom fire and sulphur rained from heaven and destroyed them all-- so will it be on the day when the Son of man is revealed."
Things appeared to be "normal" daily living to the unbelievers at that time. Things appear to be "normal" to the unbelievers today too. Homosexuality legitimized is but one of the signs. The breakdown of the family is another on I believe.
Our pastor has done two series of sermons this year on The End. It is as though the Holy Spirit has guided him to get us ready.
enemy is alive and well. He will not win in the end though. My pastor
wrote the Harbinger. America has been warned.
When she had her first baby the grandparents were supposed to stand at the altar with her family and dedicate him.
She didn't allow either set of grandparents. She insisted on a man who was her former camp counselor.
That was her first sign. Yet I didn't want to believe she was pulling away.
I was more than humiliated, it was my church.
I know the other grandparents were too as it had recently been their church too.
To top it off, when she was born I dedicated her all alone. My husband didn't believe in God at the time. My mother refused to go. She was just mean that way sometimes. But I was determined to dedicate her to God and I did.
It took until the last few months, 16 yrs later to pull, the final plug.
It is even more confusing to wonder why she makes all these Quotes about the Bible on Facebook.
