CHRISTIAN PARENTS of ESTRANGED ADULT CHILDREN Community Group
Estrangement makes it difficult to talk about with family, friends, neighbors and church members. Christians are NOT immune to broken families. Talk about your experiences with those who know how you feel and get positive support through your Christian faith...."In these last days difficult times will come, for men will be lovers of self...disobedient to parents,...

A friend just posted this story on FB and it reminded of what we are all going through ~~~~
"Once upon a time there was a man who owned a field. On one side of him lived an evil man who stole his cattle, poisoned his fields and threatened him. On the other side lived a kind man who encouraged him and helped him. The farmer chose to give his land to the kind man. The kind man told him he could continue to live there. Now, when the evil man tried to steal and harm him, he met with a formidable force and the man in the middle was safe."
Ah, that's my Jesus! I am safe in Him because He holds me and the Father holds Jesus so nothing can get to me unless it first goes through the Father then the Son! John 14:20 ~ "On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you."
When someone tries to "take away" what I prize the most, all I need to do is give 'it' to Jesus - no matter what 'it' is or who (my es in this case) it is. So be it!

So true. Thank you for reminding us to give it all to Jesus. It all belongs to Him.

Thank you for this great reminder.

Thankyou for this great story, ever. This morning's message was on that very subject, "What do we have to fear when Jesus is our King!"

Absolutely the case.

1:10 AM, Just read this , as I was turning a fearful thought over in my mind. Thanks so much , everloving 11, and Thank you Jesus. Why do I go over and back to a worrisome thought when I know deep in my heart ....HE will never leave or abandon me. "If not for HIM" I'd have been a goner.

I just read this after my reply on my post...I needed to hear this. I have been saying I just want to let her go and not see her. I guess I need to think of it as letting Jesus have her!
