You are my friends. Our 21 year old ED left our home, last December. Since then, she has not allowed any of her family members to have contact with her and she has not responded to any of our efforts to reach out to her.
I sent her a letter 3 weeks ago that she did not respond to. I included in the letter that her grandmother (age 92) is old and not well. Through her friend's mother I heard that she wanted to see her grandmother. She refuses to see DH and I. She wants to come when we are not home and bring her girlfriend and her boyfriend. We told her friend's mother that we agree to the visit. Her grandmother (my 92 year old mother) welcomes the opportunity that God has given her to see her estranged granddaughter to share truth in love with her. Some of our family members did not agree that this should take place but DH and I believe from the Lord that it is right. We are not expecting any immediate changes. It is in God's hands only and He will work in His way and in His timing. We pray that one day peace between our ED and us would take place. We all pray for that betwween us and our EC. Only God!
I am asking prayer for my 92 year old Mother (stong spiritually, weak physically) as she meets with ED and her friends on 10/25 at my home. Praying for all of you, too.

God Bless us as we go on each day and we will continue to count our blessings.
My mother and I have issues between us, but I have been praying that God would intervene and help us reconcile our differences soon. My mother has been terribly abusive, and I know that she is old, and I need to forgive her, it is going to take some extra prayers on my part for God to really help me to forgive her the way He wants me to. My story is complicated, but nothing is impossible with God's intervention.
Like you, I pray for God's grace to carry on. ((hugs)) Maddie
