As we approach a New year I want to thank Jesus for bringing us through this past year. In this world today there is so little we can really count on. When I think of the word COUNT a few things come to mind. 1) I can always COUNT on The Lord. He is faithful. 2) I can COUNT on this place of very special people. We care about one another. 3) I must COUNT my blessings. Life will never be perfect but I must not take what God gives for granted.

I pray that each of you my friends will be blessed with all of God's richest blessings in 2014. Shalom to all!

I love musicalmom's post that our children would come to relove their mothers like they used to. I know they are now adults and their love for us changes, but that is okay.

Today a friend told me how her brother is always so caring for their mother. He calls her every day to check on her. He lives in Seattle; she in Minneapolis/Florida. He is married so obviously his wife is not insecure and sees no competition. There shouldn't be. I want my ES to love his wife first (well, God first) and then me, that's all.
