Heavenly Father,Thankyou for our salvation, Praise be unto Your holy name. We give you all the glory! I pray for our EC that you would reveal to them the darkness they are walking in, the lies of Satan. That they would run to You and be saved, those who were raised and know the truth that you would fill their hearts and minds with your word and go running home. You are mighty and powerful, NOTHING is impossible with You.

Amen gma! Thank you for the prayer for us as we go through this day. We, as parents want first for our EK's to turn to the Father. It is by them doing so, we should be receiving the benefits of that in restoration of our families. Our son and DIL are professing Christians who attend church weekly and are bringing their kids up with them knowing about Jesus and they are doing an excellent job at that - they just haven't quite gotten the rest of scripture about "honoring they mother and father." They're still breathing and so there is still hope.

Thanks Gma- I will put on the armour and stand shoulder to shoulder with you in this battle.
I have finished my first job for today, and am having a lunch break before going to my evening job. I'm going to write your prayer on a 3x5 card and take it to work with me, put it where I will see it often and make my request before God's throne.

imresilient....Glad I brightened you day!! Ya know, I have seriously thought about writing a LONG letter to every pastor in their area about the hypocrisy of it around Mother's Day and Father's Day and beg them to preach a really good sermon about what the Bible REALLY says about "honoring thy mother and father." BUT, they live in the south and there are way too many churches to do all that.

Oh, well. Hey, so glad to have you in this group also. I think it is really going to be a great group of supporting parents for all newcomers in the days ahead of us. Times are changing so rapidly and there are so many hurting parents like you out there.
