CHRISTIAN PARENTS of ESTRANGED ADULT CHILDREN Community Group
Estrangement makes it difficult to talk about with family, friends, neighbors and church members. Christians are NOT immune to broken families. Talk about your experiences with those who know how you feel and get positive support through your Christian faith...."In these last days difficult times will come, for men will be lovers of self...disobedient to parents,...
It reminds me of an incident when my son was about 8 years old. Something happened in the neighborhood with his playmates and I was convinced by the circumstantial evidence that he was the culprit. Upstairs to his room he had to go. Meanwhile, I went outside to work in the garden. When I came back in, on the counter sat a note from my son which read, "Mom, I did not do it. You need to say you are sorry."
He was heartbroken that I had not believed him. I knew in my heart that I had to apologize to him in spite of what had appeared to be.
I think telling your ED that you will always love her no matter what, but that does not mean that you have to like her behavior at times.

I think telling your ED that you will always love her no matter what is always warranted, but that does not mean that you have to like her behavior at times.
