Hi everyone. Although this is off topic, I am requesting prayer for a little boy Trevor who is only 3 years old. Last year about this time, he had surgery for spine and brain cancer. His chances were not good but he survived for which we praise God. He has check ups every 3 months and this time they found the cancer has returned. His parents weren't able to conceive him for several years during their marriage so he is more of a miracle child anyway. They do also have a 1 year old but of course he has no idea of what is happening. Today they were to do surgery to put in a stint (I think that is what it is called) so they can start chemo. There will be chemo, surgery, radiation and more chemo. I don't know the order. I just know they need prayers for this boy who is so well behaved and so precious. They are a very Christian family and truly believe God can do anything, as we all do.

I am so sorry to hear about little Trevor's return of cancer. Cancer is such a terrible thing. I will keep him in my prayers.

Thank you lindajoan. I am doing better. Yesterday my estranged son and his wife invited me to their home for lunch and to spend time with 4-year-old Micaiah. It was a great day. It made me realize that I need to sell this lake home and move back closer to family and friends in the Twin Cities. I love this lake home Al and I remodeled but it is too much for a woman to take care of. And I really want to do more volunteering, lunches with friends, attend theater and just be more connected. I know my dear Al will be with me in my heart, irregardless of where I live.

I can't believe it has been 3 months. It feels like an eternity. But the blessing is that my estranged son and his wife want me in their lives. I got a text from DIL saying she was glad her little girl has a grandma who loves her and thanked me for visiting them.

Poor little boy. Prayers going up to God & Jesus for him. I bet Jesus is holding this child on his lap when he has surgery.

Update: Yesterday they put the stint or whatever it is called into him. The doctors determined that they couldn't give him the 2 kinds of chemo as they did last time. They need to give him 1 stronger one. The bad news is that it will be hard on Trevor but it may also totally get rid of the cancer on his brain and his spine. So we are praying this will work well for him. Will let you know more as I do. Thanks for your thoughts and prayers for him. He is just so cute.

Norske, sounds like a move would be best for you but only you can decide that. So glad your family is with you and supporting you. Getting out and having more to do sounds good. God bless and be with you. You are always in my prayers.

Newest update on Trevor. He started chemo yesterday. His mom sent a message to me "Well today was all over the place. We made Trevor get out of bed n go to the playroom, he played for a while and walked back to his room, but then started looking sickly, then started throwing up. It was heartbreaking. He got medicine but cried and whimpered most of the day. This evening he finally is acting better. Won't get out of bed but did play some." It's touch for anyone to endure Chemo but hopefully he won't need surgery. Thank you all for your prayers
